Summer pruning and orchard maintenance

Summer stone fruit (plums, peaches, nectarines) are best pruned in summer after cropping.
Come learn about what to prune when, why, and then how by working on real trees. (You'll also learn the techniques and gain the confidence to do your winter pruning).
I can show the long-term effects of different pruning techniques and even what happens when you get it wrong!
We also cover organic management to increase the health of your trees and nutrient density of your fruit. Practical and effective methods are demonstrated and discussed.
